Since 1985 Camper and  caravan families

follow this Code of Conduct

1.     The use of campers and  caravans as a means of transport is regulated by the road traffic code. We  must respect it while always bearing in mind the large size of our vehicles.

2.     The use of campers and caravans as living accommodation requires, instead, the respect of special regulations and standards intended for the protection of the environment, and of the urban spaces which we occupy from time to time.

  1. In inhabited areas it is advisable to stop at places which are not of a marked commercial character.

  1. In urban centres the use of campers as living accommodation must not involve the occupation of any external spaces, and must offer as little exposure as possible of the conditions inside the vehicle. It is especially important to avoid making noise.

  1. Any form of monopolization of space must be avoided.

  1. Domestic animals must be prevented from creating any disturbances or from soiling the ground.

  1. Discharges put the credibility of campers and caravans’ drivers and passengers at stake, hence it is  imperative to adhere very strictly to the utmost respect of the most rigorous standards of behaviour and hygiene.

  1. The discharge of soiled water must take place only in authorized sites. The discharge of clean water always creates an inconvenience that gives rise to a negative impression,  and hence must be carried out in the same locations which serve for the discharge of soiled water. No discharge of any kind must take place when the vehicles are not stationary.

  1. The disposal of solid refuse must be made by means of containers left inside public refuse boxes.

  1. In all circumstances it is essential to remember that the liberty of each of us ends where the liberty of others begins. Let us shape our behaviour by this civilized principle.
